Taste for the Troops
On Sunday, November 10th, discounts and programming will be offered to pay special tribute to our armed services in honor of Veteran's Day! The Giant Eagle Market District Main Kitchen Theatre will host “Taste for the Troops”, a military cooking competition hosted by Sam Morgante, culinary specialist and former White House chef who served under President George W. Bush. This performance has open seating throughout the theatre on a first-come, first-served basis. Five branches of the military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and the Coast Guard - will go head-to-head in a judged cooking contest using a secret ingredient. Special judges include Sunny Anderson and Mario Rizzotti. This performance has open seating throughout the theatre on a first-come, first-served basis.
